Hello, lovely listeners, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone. It's Jill and Kim with One Harmonic Hole. I don't know why I'm talking this way today. We're bringing some calm. We're bringing some calm, I think, is what's going on. We're bringing in some calm energy right now.
Yes. And we're breaking a pattern. Breaking the pattern. Breaking a pattern. We've been breaking patterns, and it was pretty intense, and it was quite chaotic. It kind of hit a fever pitch in a lot of different ways. And it's like the calm is like the calm after the storm—patterns are broken. And here we are.
Yeah. And it got us questioning with the patterns: How do you know you're breaking a pattern? How do you know that what you're doing is actually working to break a pattern, breaking a habit? How do you know? And what came to me was lots of choices. You now almost can feel a little bit bombarded with choices or too many decisions all of a sudden, and you're just like...
And if you let it get ramped up, if you let yourself get into the judgment or the insecurities, or "I might make a wrong decision," what happens is you revert back to the old pattern and you go right back. I think that was some of the storm from last week: patterns were being broken and all of the choices were being shown.
And there was just like... A lot of... A lot of the energy. A lot of people were, like, spinning out in it. Like, I just don't even know what to do with it. Which—the beautiful thing is this—today, and I believe coming forward this week, it's much calmer because we're starting to find our feet a little bit. Like, we know something has shifted; we still don't quite know necessarily all what it is.
And we also know that we have choices. And we may not know what they are, but it's not like this chaotic storm around us—it's calm.
Yeah. That's truly the best way to describe it.
Yeah. And then you go on that: how do you know? How do I know? Like, okay, first of all, if we're asking ourselves "How do I know?" it's almost... We're ramping up the storm again! Like, ask once: "How do I know?" And then listen.
Yep.
Did you hear that? Bada doom.
I didn't.
Oh my goodness—you said "ask," and my phone—my computer in front of me—just said he's just verifying.
Okay! Sorry to interrupt—keep going.
No good verification! So it's like—I think it's like we don't have to be overly in it from our mental perspective. That's the old habit we used to have—to like: What's the pattern? What is this? I have to know; I have to understand it; I have to be able to explain it; I have to know what's next; I have to see my choices... And I can—even as I'm going through that—I can just feel all of it ramping up.
Yet there's still this calmness—the energy that we're being called to is calm.
So how do we interact with that calm energy, Kim?
Great question, Joe! My best thing—I'm gonna keep saying it—is release the judgment. It's when you literally start judging it; over-analyzing it... What's the other word that was coming to my head? Not trusting yourself—when you don't trust you're gonna make a good or bad decision (there's no good or bad decision). It's just, you know... how you play it out.
It's the experience from it.
Right—how you play it out! I love that—"is how it plays out." Like—I have had a few decisions recently where it's become really clear to me that those things were what we would judge as failures—they didn't work—but what was revealed to me after that; what I could see after that was so amazing and worked so well... But I wouldn't have seen that next stage without that failure!
But it wasn't a failure, Kim—it was just another step.
It was! It's when you inadvertently—you asked for guidance; you asked for things to be revealed...
Okay!
Yeah—it was the process that got you there—what you felt might have been something bad/poor/whatever—and you're like "oh, I didn't make a good choice," but in reality, you made a choice that actually led you to the outcome you were looking for.
Yeah! None of it was bad—it wasn't like "oh this is terrible," it just didn't give me the result I wanted—it was just a step! And that step and that experience helped me to see more clearly—the next choice and then the next choice...
And we have this thing in our heads where we're like: "Well if I'm going to make a choice—it has to be the right one." It's kind of like—and I've talked about this before—test anxiety: "What's the right answer? What's the right answer?" If you don't get the right answer right... It's kind of like we're still trying to impose that on ourselves when we have these new choices...
And it's so calm—it's like: No! There's no test! There's no test anxiety!
No!
And here's the thing—in a lot of situations—it is okay to hold off on making a choice or hold off on making a decision—you do not need to make that decision instantaneously—it is not life or death!
And I'm not going from the aspect of say driving in a car or something like that—those times you have to make very very fast choices—or if you're running away from the bear—these are choices where "Man should I go get that coffee? I really want that coffee! Should I go get that coffee?" Or "I really want that job so go do that..." And if you start asking so many questions about it—it's like your body's trying to give you a chance to change a pattern...
It just stopped—"Oh I'm rethink—I'm overthinking this; I'm asking too many questions..." It's okay to just sit still with it and let it kind of play out and see where it goes...
"I'm thirsty—I would like a drink; I'm open to receive a drink..." Okay where does that lead me exactly?
We saw—I saw last week something—from one of our podcasts—they saw where it was said: Decision plus intention—that's enough!
So you just did that—you just said: "You know I'm thirsty and I want something to drink," and then when you allow that to do its thing you're like... Something in you just rises up; something in you knows water is the best option for your body right now—you just know that's—that's the space we're in...
And yeah these are not life or death choices; these are small incremental very loving... It's very safe—to do this calm; it's supportive because none of these—you know—we're not talking (like you said)—I mean—I don't know the last time I ran from a bear—but actually never! Right?
These are not running-from-bear choices! These are very loving—you know—small next step... Small step; small step; small step—to building something new from these patterns we've broken...
It's just so calm; it's so quiet; it's so beautiful Kim...
It's so beautiful!
Oh—I think we can all use a break from that chaos too too... So this is feeling great!
It's very nice isn't it?
Yep... How can I enjoy this calm more? And I'm just sitting here floating in my chair right now...
It's pretty cool!
I'm kind of rocking back and forth—not physically rocking but my energy is rocking back and forth like I'm doing a self-soothing rock—it's very cool...
Yeah—I just feel super calm; floaty—that's what—that's my hope and my wish for everyone who hears this and is listening right now—that you have that beautiful beautiful feeling as well...
Because we really need it isn't it? It's like our medicine right now—we really needed some calm—and yes soothing—I love that self-soothing...
How can you self-soothe? Even self-soothing is just sitting and giving yourself space—it'll show up—it'll rise up for you there's no doubt—it's so strong right now...
Thank you Jill.
Thank you everyone.
Yeah thank you Kim.
All right until next time.
